Use a used bumper..it's made of abs plastic..also between 4 to 6 mill thickness and bendable
30 years later those blue and pink beasts still look like the most awesome two wheeled machines on the planet!
how tall are you mate?
This bike makes alot of sense in the real world. And that sound ❤. Wonder if they are as reliable like my Bonnie has been.
Just got myself a V Raptor yesterday. Rode it home for 260 km and took it for another 100 km today around the city outskirts. The bottom of the tank has a seal on a fuel line that leaks. I also noticed the right hand side plastic gill sort of thing is missing. Any Raptor owners' advice?
No bluetooth?
Yes, we can dream on and build on, and thats what the man meant, RIP John Britten,

Nice wee video man! Thanks a lot. I was there, was a great weekend.
いいねぇ~♪
The reasons they went out of business were long and ongoing: -worlds biggest and best motocycle manufacturer by far in 1916 -made mistake by selling all WW1 era production to the govt leaving nothing for the dealers to sell -ownership structure was always an issue in the 20's, being a public company Vs family owned by harley -survived depression in part by selling plant and manufacturing machinery, canabilising itself, machinery was knackerd by the end of WW2 -post WW2 they rushed paralel twin bikes into production without proper testing -when it finally failed in 1953 the right to 'sell' indians got split from the right to 'manufacture' them, which is why it took so long to get them up and running again Obviously peoples love of the Indian bikes and brand never waivered, hence why they're back bigger than ever now.
When you were cruising with high RPMs, was that clatter the valves, or was it some thing else. I have owned 4 guzzis, That sound sounded like valve clatter, which is perfectly normal. Maybe it was the location of the microphone picking up mostly top end sound and exaggerating it …. I know that sound can’t be camchain, and I hope it’s not piston rattle, which is possible because of the air cooled cylinders.. i’m old enough to remember the by- gone two-stroke days, and those air cooled Kawasaki triples loudest noise if you were not standing behind the machine, was piston rattle… I am watching your video here in June 2023, because one of these machines has just come up for sale by private owner. I wanted to get some feedback.. i’m considering replacing my Kawasaki Z 400, with this Moto Guzzi as my non-fairing hot weather bike here in pittsburgh Pennsylvania, USA..
I keep coming back to your review.. love it. Im considering buying this model for a local bike, easy and nimble around town.
I’ve bought the exact same bike And love it 👍😀
You blew it by 1:24 when you couldn't pronounce Agostini. Do you even know who that was?
You kinda sound like Tiff Needell from 5th Gear 😂
Leonardo da Vinci of motorcycles ,way ahead of his time.
I'm restoring a 1946 Chief now. Been buying most my parts from Kiwi Indian motorcycles Co. Here in the US. (11-10-2022)
thanks for this video,i find it a great fun to watch this.there are so much different bikes and cars .greetings from the netherlands 😀
i was there , great turn out
This was my first ever motorcycle back in 2006 I had it for a year best bike to learn yet had a first and second gear that was strong I did actually wheelie it for few meters after that a Z1000 then a CB1000F after that a CBR1000 and now I have a HAYABUSA loved all my bikes I wish I could’ve kept them all but money doesn’t just come to east 😅
bloody hell thinking this was a pommy review recognised CHCH damn good review as looking for a step up from RE
The black beemer looks like an R60/2 to me
Hi all, one question: how did you get the slider into place, past the rear shockabsorber??? I have here an exact duplicate teflon slider for the Raptor 650, but NO WAY can I get it to fit.......please advise. Greetings!
He put the rear suspension in front of the driver so it can be controlled
Not one 4 cylinder in the lot.
My wife wants this or the monster 696 for her 1st bike. She likes her bikes like she likes her men, cheap and Italian..😆
Looked like NZ, somewhere like Christchurch possibly. Cold and bleak, but nice roads for a bike, if you've got the right gear.
Hola, que bateria lleva? me podes sacar una foto?
Lucky man. I hope you never used it, that things work a lot of money. In Aus dollors, your looking at around $500 but in the USA god knows what you could ask. I found a swiss voyager with the digital clock in an old mum abd pop camping shop just like you. It had been on display for around 15 years. I got it for $130 🤣
Innovaitve bike, but I'm not it's biggest fan.😌
В начале видео звук БМВ очень точно и хорошо работает!
I just stumbled across this today. Thanks Jonathan you do a good video mate. Good voice for narration 👍
hi mate, great test! what is the top speed on the V9, and how the gear box reacts when changing gears at hi revs? although this is a cruiser, it`s can be fun enough? Thanks!
These bikes are great creations. I wish they mass produced these bikes. But seeing the limited amount of these bikes makes them special.
One the most intriguing motorcycles on the planet.
BRILLIANT, EXCELLENT. 10/10 10/10 Thank You. LOVED it.
Is a multi tool the older one is lighter than a spirit with much bigger tools except the pliers
Very good and informative video, thanks for it. In this season I'm planning to buy one of these bikes. Btw I'm 5'13 (184 cm) tall, and I'm a bit concerned if the riding position is comfy to me. But, since the seat is quite long to slide back and forth in order to seated comfy, I'm hopfully hoping that this bike will be The Bike for me :) Can you affirm that my tallness will be ok for this bike or should I look for another or maybe the "N" version? Thanks!! Have safe trips.
I'm 6ft 3 and I fit pretty good on the sv650s. Legs are abit tucked up but it's not unbearable and nothing you can't get use to
This video made me want Agostini exhausts for my V9 Roamer
How do you even get the seat off? 🤯
I was so happy to see The Bike at the Wellington Museum...2002.... I had a poster of it on my bedroom wall when it first appeared in Performance Bike Magazine in 1992.. Such a cool Plinth that it sits upon too.. Still to see it and HeAr it!? This bike needs to be Respected with a Road Version... maybe INDIAN could do the honours? They seem to have a few quid at the moment and a decent factory?
That front end is great.. but.. it rarely seems to have the front wheel on the the ground!?
still working?
Sis the Agostini require an ECU remap?
Just found this video, what an awesome bike, planning to do the same. Tried the blog but can’t find it, can you help?
Solved! Just needed a new stater relay 😀
I own a silver 2003 SV650 and it’s absolutely fun to ride!! I’ve owned a BMW, a few Harleys, Hondas and Suzukis, this SV650 is right up there with the BMW when it comes to ridding and overall performance!! It’s soo fun to ride, that I actually take longer routes to beget places because it’s THAT MUCH FUN to ride!! Tread safely
Hey, could you tell me please what is the lowest seat hight on your bike?
"this new zealand's most ugliest building" hahaha nice
Nice place New Zealand, pity about Ardern..
